Viki

Viki is a global TV site that streams TV shows, movies and other premium content, translated into more than 150 languages by a community of avid fans. With over 1.5 billion videos viewed and nearly 325 million words translated, Viki uniquely brings global prime-time entertainment to new audiences and unlocks new markets and revenue opportunities for content owners.

Viki is the first and fastest platform for real-time subtitling of video – from Hollywood Hits to Japanese Anime to Korean Dramas and Spanish Novelas. It has content deals with NBCU, A&E, BBC, TBS, TNT, MBC, SBS, TVA, among others. In 2012, Viki began offering music videos and launched anime with over 100 Japanese titles and its first original series Ozma. Viki also syndicates its shows with partners such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and Yahoo!.

Viki is available on PC, mobile, tablet, smart TV and set top boxes. It is available in 50+ countries and has over 24 million viewers per month and 7 million mobile users.

The Wall Street Journal Asia named Viki one of the most innovative companies 2012. Viki won the Crunchie Award for Best International Startup in 2010.

Viki, a play on the words “video” and “wiki,” publicly launched in December 2010 and has offices in Singapore, San Francisco and Seoul.
