Vertical Brands is a San Francisco-based start up and incubator of online experiences to help consumers make life’s important decisions, like finding an apartment and buying a car. The company’s flagship product, ApartmentList.com launched in 2011 at TechCrunch Disrupt and won the Webby Award for Real Estate in 2012. It is currently the fastest growing apartment search engine. Founded by John Kobs and Chris Herndon and funded by prominent angel investors, Vertical Brands is profitable, hiring and pursuing more categories in need of innovation.
