Vertical Communications was formed through the September, 2004 acquisition of Vertical Networks Inc. (VNI) by Artisoft, Inc. The company changed its name in January 2005 to Vertical Communications, reflecting our focus on deep domain experience in and knowledge of the key vertical markets we serve.
