Vaulten is an online backup software for Windows designed for small businesses and individuals. IBM’s Continuous Data Protection technology and storage is used by the Vaulten backup service.
Vaulten is simple to use that within three steps anyone can secure their digital valuables i.e. Download, Install and Activate. The software intelligently selects the important files on a computer that needs to be secured. Advanced options lets users select any custom file, folder or section of their computer that they wish to be backed up. Once activated, Vaulten silently starts backing the files to secure online servers. The transmission and storage is made fully safe using bank-grade encryption.
Vaulten’s technology incorporates on-demand recovery, which enables recovering partial or complete data, by selecting the files they need to backup. The in-built file versioning ensures multiple versions of the same files are stored, not only covering the risk of compliance, but also ensuring any user can restore an older version of the same file in just few clicks.
The backup client is a 14Mb file that can be downloaded from the site for the free 30 day trial. After the trial, the subscription can be bought from the website.
