Uvinum is the international social wine recommendation website.
Uvinum’s purpose is to increase and facilitate wine knowledge worldwide. In this goal of making wine sector accessible to all, Uvinum wants to give complete information and costumers reviews for each wine, personalized recommendations and the option to purchase wine comparing prices in the best online stores.
This young start-up based in Barcelona (Spain) was launched to become an international project and after the initial launching in Spain (www.uvinum.es) on December 15th 2009, the company launched Uvinum UK (www.uvinum.co.uk) on March the 1st, being the first international expansion. The company will continue entering in new markets like the United States (www.uvinum.com) or France (www.uvinum.fr). The focus of the company is global, but Uvinum will act locally in each market adapting its strategy and activities to the market and consumer profile of each country.
