Upgrade Capital provides young traders with a platform purposely built to replicate the experience of managing a real equity long-short fund. At present we are working with 700+ students from 15 top universities.
Performance data gathered through semi-annual investing competitions is used to identify the best traders in the country for presentation to hedge funds and proprietary trading firms.
In addition to consolidating quantitative measures of investing performance, we provide hedge funds with access to a consolidated database of trade idea write-ups. Authors of exceptionally strong write-ups are invited to attend the Value Investing Congress free of charge (tickets normally sell for $5,000) to mingle with some of the most respected analysts and portfolio managers in the industry.
