Twittad provides a place where advertisers can purchase a Twitter user background image. This can be to promote a new product, website or brand marketing.
A Twitter user puts their background up for sale by selecting a price and duration for the ad, advertisers then pay Twittad that price plus a 5% service charge (min .99 cents). Twittad’s patent pending technology continually checks to make sure the Twitter user is serving the advertisement. If the Twitter user removes the advertisement Twittad refunds the remaining balance to the advertiser.
