Twitoaster

Twitoaster is a Twitter web application that threads and archives your conversations in real time, bringing you all the context and statistics you need to improve the way you communicate with your followers.

  • Conversation threading: Twitoaster groups replies and retweets with the tweets that inspired them, displaying threaded discussions.
  • Analytics charts and statistics: Twitoaster provides analytics and statistics, helping you to tweet at the right time.
  • Conversational search engine: Twitoaster archives and indexes all your conversations in a conversational search engine.

The project started with the idea of handling efficiently Twitter conversations. That way, when someone tells you something like “This is so funny!” you perfectly understand what he found so hysterical.

Users, bloggers, brands or companies interested in their followers reactions and replies are all Twitoaster potential users. Most of them use it to archive their twiter conversation, manage their replies, and be sure they won’t miss anything. Others use it as a CRM, a survey / poll tool, or directly as their main twitter client.

Twitoaster also has an open Application Programming Interface (API for short). This means that anyone can write their own program (applications, websites, widgets…) to present public Twitoaster data (threaded conversations, statistics…) in new and different ways. For example, the Twitoaster WordPress plugin uses the Twitoster API to retrieve comments sent to Blogs via Twitter.
