Turtle Beach was founded in 1975 in Elmsford, NY, by Carmine Bonanno. Over the course of its 35-year history, Turtle Beach has developed a wide variety of music products including electronic synthesizers, software, sound cards and network audio devices. In 2005, Turtle Beach started creating products to penetrate the video gaming peripherals market utilizing the Companyâ€™s skills and experience from its long heritage in the audio technology space and acting as a consultancy for companies including Dell, Intel, IBM, Compaq, Creative Labs, NEC and Rockwell.
