Tupalo is a social yellow pages community, based in Vienna, Austria, containing an international database of local businesses for social people.
Content on Tupalo is available for visitors and registered members, via a city-based organizational structure, which divides content into categories, tags and keywords. Registered users are able to collect friends and businesses in a social network environment, as well as create custom sets, which act as mini-city guides. In addition, registered users are able to edit local business entries in a wiki-like environment and participate in city, or topic-focused discussion groups.
The two founders of Tupalo were previously developers at Rockstar Games in Vienna, Austria.
