Though I am not familiar with Chinese, feeling my way through the features and making some assumptions on the design of this website, I see an argument for tripgarden.com as a web3.0 offering. See a descriptive explanation here: http://sramanamitra.com/2007/05/15/online-travel-synthesis/

A lot of problems for users and really too slow."It’s has introduced social networking with editorial travel content to the Internet-izens of China (Web 3.0). " This is not true at all. However, it is very well designed and looks pretty nice.

I highly doubt it's the most popular travel portal. Sina, Tom, Ctrip, eLong, anyone? And I also don't get this: "It’s has introduced social networking with editorial travel content to the Internet-izens of China (Web 3.0)"; which part is Web 3.0?

This site is well designed and obviously they spent a great deal of time editing and cropping pictures, but it's all in Chinese. :( I can read it.
