TribalOS is a web desktop, based on collaborative computing and executed on the cloud in a user-friendly environment. This software has been designed to support business market.
Tribalos combines the best of both worlds, the access to information on the web and the ease-to use of local desktops.
Among its features, users may:
Store, edit and share files on the cloud; thanks to TribalOS our clients can store, edit online (without any downloading involved) and share their files (with users and other contacts) in a friendly and safe cloud computing environment.
With TribalOS, every user can create a users’ network as well as a reliable user groups and share one o more files simultaneously with one o more users and/or user groups. In addition to that, the system gives the option to set up (in case the user grants or not permit to edit) notifications when other users have made changes in the shared files and even to keep a historical record of versions from the files modified.
Tribalos does not limit the option to share files only to its users but it extends it up to other contacts (NOT TribalOS users). In Tribalos we can share one and/or several files with one and/or several contacts with an editing permit, protecting the access with a password and establishing if we want an expiration date.
The access to the files is through a link sent via e-mail link, with a message and a password. The recipients will have access to this files as well as the right to modify them online (in case they have permission), also, to send own files and to leave messages.
This functionality works the same with the agenda, calendar and tasks.
