When creating a travel itinerary, users select and manipulate travel services in the Trekiz DIY trip planner. Once the user completes their itinerary, all elements of the trip are booked online with the trip planner and purchased through PayPal or ChinaPay. City guides covering culture, cuisine, transportation, and weather are also available on the Trekiz website. Travel industry professionals can use Trekiz’s B2B platform to adjust tour pricing, expand their product base and build more customized trips for their clients.
When Trekiz launched in March 2011, it offered China tours and travel services in China. Since then, Trekiz has expanded its offerings to include tours, treks, cruises and safaris in other countries such as Italy, Egypt, Vietnam, South Africa, and Kenya.
