Transferr is a visual, web-based bookmarking service that allows its users to save, customise, organise and share their favourite websites with ease.

Users can save bookmarks to their Transferr account by importing them from their web browser, using a Bookmarklet, the popular AddThis button, or by manually entering a URL. Bookmarks are added to a Transferr page as a colourful square icon, a single click will take the user directly to that bookmark. Transferr also creates a screenshot of every bookmark added, so users can quickly and visually recognise their sites: Transferr is speed dial for the web.

Transferr let’s a user share a whole group of bookmarks with others by creating a public (uneditable) page of icons with a unique, permalinked and shortened URL, which is great for sharing through social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.

Users can copy and share the URL, or use the included AddThis button to share their unique URL around popular social networking and social bookmarking websites. Anyone who has the unique URL has access to these shared bookmarks - no need for registration! This is useful for group collaboration, teaching and web-publishing.
