Trade Consulting Services (TCS) is a firm specializing in helping manufacturers and exporters understand their responsibilities under the import and export regulations of the United States.
The United States Government (USG) controls the export of goods, services and technology as a way of maintaining our national security and promoting foreign policy objectives. As a result, all goods, services and technology require prior written approval from the USG before they can be provided to a foreign company, person or government.
There are several regulations that govern the export of products, primarily the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Each of these regulations control different products and have their own requirements.
