TouristWay is a software platform to create travel portals: a web application where you enter your catalogue with pictures, descriptions, availability, pricing and travel guides and you get your own-branded “personal” mini-Expedia.
The idea behind TouristWay is that travelers have plenty of options to find out the best deals (hotel reviews, rate finders, social networks) but tour operators, who are supposed to create those deals, have no next-gen tool to appropriately handle their products and sell online.
Apartments, rooms, transfers, stuff rentals and pretty much any travel product are usually a pain in the back for general-purpose ecommerce tools which have trouble dealing with conditional discounts, children policies, availability restrictions and other inside tricks.
TouristWay team come from 5 years of consultancy in the development of tailor made online booking systems and created with their “Portal Edition” a SaaS service that also sports XML API, interchangeable graphic themes and customizable templates.
The hosted package includes all functions required to run an advanced search and reservation system with a web-based administration interface, access for supplier and travel agents, multiple language and currencies and travel guides.
