TourWrist is aggregating one of the world’s largest collection of geo-located 360-degree panoramic images (virtual tours) into a free and open platform.

TourWrist earns revenue via its freemium model and custom private label versions of TourWrist. Consumers, photographers and businesses are encouraged to post content for free and then upgrade to paid value-added marketing tools later in 2012.

How TourWrist Acquires Content

TourWrist works with companies large and small, throughout the panoramic ecosystem. TourWrist acquires virtual tour panoramas in four ways:

1. Consumers who upload from within the free TourWrist App.
2. Third-party companies who integrate the free Publish to TourWrist API into their apps, software and hardware.
3. Professional panoramic photographers using the free TourWrist content delivery network (CDN).
4. Large imports of existing panoramic databases.

TourWrist is the sole Approved Supplier of virtual tours for RE/MAX. TourWrist operates the world’s largest panoramic photography forum, Panoguide, with 6,500+ members.

TourWrist Platform: Mobile

The free TourWrist app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch is on track for 1 million downloads (5/15/12). TourWrist is the #1 virtual tour-viewing app in the Apple iTunes App Store. The TourWrist iOS app also allows users to shoot and upload images directly from within the app. For Android and Windows 7 devices, TourWrist provides an HTML5 mobile-optimized web app, allowing users to search for, view and share any of the TourWrist massive collection of panoramic images.
