TORO is a mobile software company based in Taiwan focusing on NFC services (Near-Field Communication). We have developed a platform for mobile marketing services linked to the NFC technology. TORO’s customers are Mobile Operators, Banks and Advertisers.
TORO was selected to present at the Under-The-Radar conference in Mountain View in November 2008.
Akami suite™ is a platform that allows merchants, banks, and MNOs to build their NFC business case: It is a secure browser with a real GUI, a platform with a widget system to easily add and remove services, and it is complemented with a back-office server to manage the download of Adgets (widgets for advertising, CRM and direct marketing).
Akami suite™ was finalist at the GSMA Asia Mobile Congress for the Mobile Innovation Awards 2007.
