Tissue Regenix was founded in May 2006, to commercialise innovative technologies in regenerative medicine. The underpinning science was developed over the last decade in the world-leading Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering at the University of Leeds by Professors John Fisher and Eileen Ingham. The research has received in excess of £4 million grant funding to date from UK research councils (EPSRC, BBSRC) and the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.
