Time Outs website attracts over 7 million monthly unique users across the network and over 1.2 million people have downloaded the various iPhone and Android apps.
Cultural heavyweights as diverse as Paul McCartney,Prince, Kate Moss and Damien Hirst have all featured, while themes such as sex, drugs and the Brixton riots have been tackled with Time Out’s customary blend of intelligence and irreverence. Elton John,the Monty Python team and Sir Paul Smith have all been guest editors, and past writers include Tariq Ali, Nick Hornby and Jeanette Winterson.
The New York edition launched in 1995, and has gone on to become an indispensable guide to life in the Big Apple. Time Out Chicago followed, as did licensed titles in Istanbul, Dubai, Tel Aviv, Lisbon, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Sydney, Delhi, Singapore and Sydney. There is a Time Out website, mobile app or magazines in over 30 cities.
The first Eating Out in London Guide was published in 1983. Updated annually, the website and printed guide is now the bible for London’s food lovers.
