Thumbplay mobile is an entertainment content service. The company provides ringtones, videos, games and graphics for mobile phones.

In March of 2008, Thumbplay mobile raised $18 million in new capital through a Series E round that was led by Brookside Capital Partners. They plan to use the new capital to expand direct-to-customer product offerings and to provide development tools to content owners, creators, publishers and brand marketers.
