The Teaching Company produces college-level classes for lifelong learners to enjoy via audio or video streaming, downloads, or discs delivered to the home. Marketed as The Great Courses since 1990, the courses are produced specifically for the medium with professors selected and curriculum refined based on input from the company’s customers. Categories include traditional liberal arts curriculum such as history, art, music, literature, philosophy, economics and religion, plus professional and better living topics such as finance, leadership, communication skills, wine, cooking and photography.
