Established in 2008, the Madtown Lounge provides a database of bands, venues and concerts. As of April 2009, the Madtown Lounge’s reach includes tour dates from over 2,000 independent artists performing in over 35,000 venues around the United States. The Madtown Lounge also provides a social community and a suite of personalization tools for music fans. The Company aims to connect music fans with the music they love by delivering content based on preferences and geographic location.
The Madtown Lounge syndicates its data through a Facebook Application, Twitter, MySpace, Eventful.com, and is working on creating relationships with additional music services soon.
