Thaddeus Computing Inc. was founded in May 1985 by Hal and Rita Goldstein. Through the years Thaddeus Computing has published a number of magazines and catalogs, most notably: The Portable Paper (1985-1991), The HP Palmtop Paper (1991-1999), Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine (1997-present; formerly titled Pocket PC magazine and Handheld PC Magazine), and The Ultimate Palmtop Catalog (1995-present).
