On TellmeTwin users map their character to find their personality “twins” - people who think like them - and use their profile to discover: paintings, movies, music, books, hotels, restaurants, travel spots… the list goes on.
Character mapping on TellmeTwin is done through personality tests and the rating of likes and dislikes, interests and experiences. Users can rate literally anything they love or hate. The data is user generated; if it doesn’t already exist in our database they create it wiki-style.
Through data mining we match users with their Good or Evil twins. Good twins are those who are most similar to the user and Evil twins are people with polar opposite characteristics and preferences.
Our users use their twin’s profiles to get recommendations or stay in touch. This can happen on the TellmeTwin website or, as users travel the web they can take their twins with them, and get an opinion whenever appropriate. The result; unrivaled multi-domain recommendations based on their twin’s profiles.
The data is the property of our users. To do with as they please.
