Founded in 1999, Takenet was the first company in the Brazilian mobile VAS market to offer content and new technologies to carriers, handset makers and big brands. Takenet has the biggest content portfolio of all Latin America, including songs, images, videos and games. It was responsible for the first ringtone ever made and sold in Brazil and so far has served more than 100 million downloads.
Among the services and technologies available to all Brazilian and Chilean carriers are: mobile phone customization content like ringtones (monophonic, polyphonic, truetune and fulltrack) and images (wallpapers, screensavers, icons, skins, etc.); info entertainment services like games, chat, videos, quizzes and news; VAS Gateway Tangram; Reverse and Sponsored SMS; solutions for interactivity and mobile marketing.
