Supernova is an online music community for indie artists and their fans who wish to help them develop and emerge.
Supernova.com creates live events for its registered users to perform in, participate in, and promote. These live events are produced in a Battle of the Bands® format and feature artists from the site’s online roster. They occur on a weekly basis across North America and include showcases, series, and headlined tours. All events aim to provide artists with industry exposure, live stage experience, and prizes that artists can use for development.
Members can share media such as photos, videos, and audio. Profile pages feature friend networking, photo galleries, video posting and blogs. Songs can be streamed through the Music Explorer and music can be reviewed and rated by members. Users can also view local show listings and buy show tickets.
