SuicideGirls memberships typically run $4 a year. However, if you get a SuicideGirls tattoo, you’re given a free lifetime membership. Either way, once you have your membership setup, you can access pictures of over 1500 alternative models. Many models have tattoos, piercings and other physical traits that don’t match up with those of mainstream models. Models go under a first name or a one-word nickname which gives the site a little bit of a strip club feel. In addition to showing models’ professional photo shoots, other user related info, such as profiles and blogs are posted.
SuicideGirls claims their MySpace page has the most commented on photos and the most popular blog on all of MySpace. They also claim 43 percent of their paid members are women, which would be extremely unusual for what is considered by many a porn site.
