StudentGems provides businesses and individuals with a near-professional resource at a fraction of the professional price by connecting them with students for one-off jobs and projects.

The site acts as an innovative ‘matchmaker’ giving businesses easy access to cutting edge talent from all corners of the UK. Students gain commercial experience, employability skills, a network of contacts and earn more money than pulling pints.

Launched in 2007, site registrations are growing, already totalling 3,000 businesses and 13,000 students offering over 70,000 services ranging from animation to woodworking… and everything in between.
