StreetMatching enables you to contact that person you had a crush on, as long as the two of you want it. It is free and confidential.
In the street, on the metro, in a bar, at a concert…anywhere you go you can run into someone and love can spring up between you. You look at each other, your eyes meet, you smile…but in most cases it´s just that. Nothing else happens.
StreetMatching is a website that enables the user to get in touch with the person he/she had a crush on, as long as the other one does it too.
Through www.streetmatching.com and on your free iPhone App, the user will be able to sign up and enter the approximate time and location where he/she had a crush. When doing this, the user will see the pictures of the people who also registered a crush at the approximate time and location. So both of them will (or not) pick out the picture of each other.
In case of doing it, StreetMatching puts them in touch through its website to keep the absolute confidentiality of its users.
Unlike the contact sites where the users interact without having seen each other previously, StreetMatching starts outside the network, when eyes meet and love springs up. This is a very common situation where the main characters of the story never get to know each other due to a lack of own initiative or time or just because other factors don´t make it possible for them to get to know each other.
This idea, which was launched from Barcelona, makes a lot of sense taking into account the increase on the number of singles, which now represents one out of five homes. Singles have become an important niche market in countries such as the US, where specific advertising already exists.
The users can use the application once they have signed up and uploaded a picture. The rest is a matter of luck or grace, as it has always been.
