Startups Nigeria is a technology community for web start-ups, entrepreneurs and innovations in mobile applications and web technologies from Nigeria.
Founded by Loy Okezie in April 2008, Startups Nigeria has been tracking tech trends within Africa, with particular focus on the Nigerian social media and web space with the aim of building a Nigerian community of web and mobile enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, developers and social media players.
From September 2009, Startups Nigeria launched a new platform at www.startupsnigeria.org in order to bring entrepreneurs, developers, students and investors to collaborate and participate in building a knowledge-based economy in Nigeria.
