Sprooki is a location-based mobile commerce and shopping service based on a real-time local marketing platform designed for retailers and shopping malls in high-density shopping districts.
Through Sprooki, retailers are able to promote and sell products/services to shoppers in direct proximity of the mall or outlet at any given time of day, controlling the timing for the availability and redemption of offers.
The founders vision is to build a “mobile first” location-based, real-time marketing system for malls, major retailers and major public events, which is used daily to drive their business, with the best of i) location-aware technology, ii) mobile commerce, iii) the daily deal/coupons and iv) flash sale business models. Sprooki’s first app is for iOS and is an integrated system allowing for the promotion, purchase and redemption of offers all on the mobile device.
Sprooki has two key offerings; the Sprooki branded direct-to-consumer aggregator model, and a white-label SAAS platform model.
Sprooki was initially launched in Singapore in late October 2011.
