Sport195 (www.sport195.com) is a Global Social Network that helps sports fans follow the sports, teams and athletes for 300+ sports across the world in 195+ countries at any level from youth to professional. An average sports fan needs to go to multiple sites per day to get their sports news and content. Sport195 solves this fragmentation by providing a custom experience based on ones interest where we aggregate the best news and content across the Web specific to a users sports interests.
Our tagline is “Athlete for Life” as we want both fans of sports, as well as athletes of all ages and levels to use our platform to showcase their athletic participation. We believe athletes should have their own platform to connect with fellow athletes, as well as be a fan of sport in the same community. We want to help reinforce an active love of sport, as well as active lifelong exercise thru sports.
Founded in 2009, Sport195 is launching in the Fall of 2012 and will immediately become the largest global platform and database for sports covering 300+ sports, 195+ countries, 285k+ teams, 10k leagues, 155k schools, 2M+ athletes and 10k+ media sources.
