I use this more than I've ever used a website that requires "posting"–and I enjoy this more than I've ever enjoyed a website that requires "posting." There is a feeling of freedom when using it. Soup.io incorporates some of the best of other sites while avoiding some of the pitfalls. And I agree with der-schlingel, an API would be great. I heard they are working on an API with the AtomPub standard as the basis for it.

It's a great service, but where's the API?
