| Description | Ordable.com |
Ordable allows its users to submit, rate, comment and order all types of content.
Ordable is a website for creating and sharing ideas, and using the wisdom of the crowds to rate, filter, sort and order topics. The site is focused around creating lists centered around a topic. Users can then add items, rate current items, comment and sort. Some applications include social bookmarking (i.e. the top tech start ups for 2009), localized topics (the best pizza in LA), and commentary. The communities’ ability to rate, sort, add, remove, and comment on everything makes it quick and easy for a casual user to pull out useful information.
Users can create questions, ideas, groups of places, people, events, etc. on ordable. Users can then invite their friends and others to rate, comment and expand upon the topic.
The company wanted to make the service a valuable experience for those that are active contributors to the site, so users can easily get paid for things they create. Users with a Google Adsense account can enter a string of alphanumeric characters and their ads from Google will be automatically displayed throughout topics they’ve created.
Ordable.com was created as a place for open discussion centered around interesting and relevant topics.
