Smaato Open Mobile Advertising platform provides advertising solutions for three key audiences : advertisers and their agencies, mobile carriers, and mobile application developers. For advertisers, SOMA delivers targeted advertising to individual cell phones via voice, SMS, or mobile-enabled web pages. For carriers, SOMA allows companies to enable advertising within the applications and operating systems’ they are running on their network of devices. For application developers, SOMA allows for application development with ad integration built in. The service works via an open API, and provides much of the functionality native in online ad servers.
