Skyrove

Skyrove is a South African based startup that enables anyone to start their own Wi-Fi Hotspot and earn revenues. It is geared specifically towards developing countries where internet access is highly expensive.

Skyrove charges for megabytes used, not for time spent online and Skyrove end-users can use remaining credits at any Skyrove hotspot.

Skyrove was founded in 2005 by Henk Kleynhans. It raised its first VC round from Synthasite founder Vinny Lingham.
