Simplicissimus Book Farm, a recognized leader on the Italian market of digital publishing, was founded by Antonio Tombolini in June 2006 bla bla bla… But that’s not their style.
The fact is that Simplicissimus Book Farm, more than a company, is actually a tale that goes way back: to the summer of 1982, when Antonio Tombolini, then a twenty-two-year-old, stumbled across an extraordinary novel: Adventures of a Simpleton (Simplicius Simplicissimus), written in 1668 by Hans Jakob Christoffel von Grimmelshausen, falling so in love with it to the point of using Simplicissimus as his nom de plume to sign his own writings at the time.
