Smart Instrumentation – The Shaspa Bridge supports the most commonly found protocols in building automation systems allowing you to protect your investment and to extend the existing functionality by being able to pick devices from a wide variety of vendors. Shaspa - Shared Spaces, Smart Building, Smart Instrumentation Smart Interconnectivity – having connected your Building controls and appliance to the Shaspa Bridge then allows you to connect them to a variety of applications and services available. If you are a service provider or like to develop applications for Shaspa you can simply get a developers kit and start building it based our software development kit and publish it to our Application Store. The Service Framework will make sure that it gets deployed safely.

On-Demand Applications deployed through our Application store and build on a strong and scalable architecture. It allows you to start with simple applications. If needed you can increase the functionality by simply adding modules at a later stage. You can choose from a wide range of available applications in the areas of:

* Entertainment and Convenience

* Facilities Management Services

The Shaspa Bridge can act as a services “clone” with services available in our Cloud based Service in the network, in effect becoming part of the cloud. This clone can function as a limited local replica of some services, delivering control even in the case of a network failure. It can also ease the connection of devices to the network by translating protocols and acting as traffic concentrator. The ability to adapt any type of network and application protocols increases the choice of devices and services for consumers.

Reduced to the max – when configuring the Shaspa Bridge you can select from a number of configuration examples available to reduce time and make use of industry best-practise. The list with the templates available can be found in the technical section.

Standalone, to fully networked, Building Service Gateway – Depending on the environment deployed the Shaspa Bridge can operate in two modes, Standalone or as Building Service Gateway or ‘Cloudlet’ if used in combination with our Service Framework. In Gateway mode the Shaspa Bridge acts as local extension to our Cloud based Service Delivery Framework. It can act as safeguard should problems with the external network access occur.
