BuildZoom

BuildZoom uses big data to help consumers find reliable service providers in the remodeling industry using a ranking algorithm, which analyzes information on over 1.8 million contractors nationwide. Each contractor is ranked based on data from authorities like the state license board and Better Business Bureau; social data including consumer reviews and Facebook likes, and information volunteered by the contractors themselves. This information is then made freely available to consumers on BuildZoom.com, where they can browse and search contractor profiles and work samples to find the right home improvement contractor for their next project.
