ShapeWriter tries to make mobile phones, tablet computers, game pads, and all other touch-screen devices more useful — and user friendly.
ShapeWriter offers iPhone users an intriguing new way to ‘type’ on their phones. Instead of having to “click” each letter, lifting a finger up with each button press, ShapeWriter can track a finger across the iPhone’s screen and figure out what they were trying to spell. Unfortunately, users aren’t able to use this new modified keyboard outside of the ShapeWriter app, but it may be good for note taking for users who find it faster than traditional hunting and pecking.
