Seed EIS Platform in one sentence is bringing private investors and the small business owners together on one page.
Seed EIS is the recent government scheme introduced in the the UK financial budget session. This scheme is introduced targeting the small business proposals which usually die in their stages due to lack of finance. Seed EIS asks private investors to invest in these small business companies in exchange of tax relief and other benefits provided by the government to these investors.
Looking to bring about a sustainable growth in the UK economy, this scheme has been made operational from the April 6th, 2012.
Seed EIS Platform here strives to bring the people who want to invest and the people who need investments together i.e. bringing the investors and the small business owners on one page. A place where an investor can find business proposals it wants to invest in and small business owners in turn can find funding for their business to prosper.
