Scout is a simple hosted server and application monitoring service. Rather than installing and configuring monitoring scripts on servers, Scout features a point-and-click plugin setup on the scoutapp.com web interface.
Existing open-source Scout plugins do everything from monitoring server resources (CPU load, memory usage, etc) to instrumenting Ruby on Rails applications. Users can build their own plugins to monitor their business-specific metrics.
Scout monitors Linux-based servers.
