scanR, Inc. develops handset applications that allow camera phone or digital camera to scan, copy, and fax documents. The company provides scanR service, which produces copies of documents, whiteboards, and business cards; extracts text information; and creates a PDF file, electronic contact, or fax. scanR also offers Office Files (beta) product that allows to upload office files through the uploader in its Web site and enable to read those files on mobile phones, as well as supports Excel, Word, Powerpoint, pdf, WordPerfect, rtf, and csv file formats.
