Saratoga Technology + Energy Park (STEP) is a 280-acre site located in Malta, New York, master-planned for 1.25 million square feet of office, lab, and light manufacturing. STEP is the home of Hudson Valley Community College’s TEC-SMART facility and the administrative offices of GLOBALFOUNDRIES. GLOBALFOUNDRIES semiconductor manufacturing facility is currently the largest economic development project in the country.
STEP is a knowledge community with significant resources for clean-energy and environmental companies looking for strategic locations to build and grow in the heart of New York’s Tech Valley. In addition, STEP offers programs, services, partnerships, and amenities to support the success of companies and their employees.
STEP is owned and sponsored by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and is a supporting member of the Business Incubator Association of New York State.
