SalesVote.com, has taken online group buying to the next level: competition. Consumers are naturally competitive and victory is finding a great deal. With this in mind, SalesVote pushes buyers to become first movers on a deal they want and then spread the word to their networks. The site offers four deals at a time but with a twist – while each deal has first movers or “Ambassadors,†the deal with the most sales wins the “sales vote†and is awarded an extra discount on top of the already deeply discounted price. But SalesVote goes even further by rewarding the winning “Ambassadors†with a percentage of the total sales back in a CASH payment. The deals range from bike tune-ups to drinks at favorite establishments and hotel stays.
Appropriately thrown into the mix of competition and saving, SalesVote incorporates badges to reward shoppers who keep going back for more.
