SadakMap is “Blog on a Map” or “Wordpress on a Map”.
We have developed a blogging framework that sits on top of a map (currently Google Maps). We provide with the necessary comments, reviews, feeds that is expected of a blog post.
We currently have 4 apps:
sadakMap Local: users can blog about places of interest. Start of by plotting the location of the place on the map and then provide necessary details. We assign a permalink to the place and periodically submit the POI’s to search engines for indexing.
sadakMap Groups: this is akin to Google Groups but on a map. Like-minded folks get together to plot topic-specific places on the map. We support both public/private groups.
sadakMap + Twitter: our Twitter client (web-based) allows users to post updates to their twitter accounts by first marking a location on the map. We include a link to the map location in the Twitter update (released Jan 2009).
sadakMap Enterprise: we provide a white-label service for enterprises who have locations spread across the country/globe. Companies can plot their locations on the map and avail of our blogging framework to interact with their customers. They also get to push location specific products using the portal that we develop.
