rome2rio is based in Australia and has been developed by two ex-Microsoft engineers who love to travel. The site was borne out of frustration by the lack of metasearch for non-flight travel. rome2rio has comprehensive worldwide airline and driving direction coverage, and train routes in Europe, China and India; further expanding that coverage is the next big focus of the startup.
