What it does (in layman’s terms): Rexter puts all your contacts in one place and connects all your email, calendar and phone events with those contacts. By doing that, and with a little information from you, it will tell you who to call every day and your network will work for YOU. Never lose a sale, never lose touch, never have another awkward re-introduction moment.

What it does (in scientific terms): Rexter aggregates contacts from existing address books and professional networks, providing a complete view of the user’s business networks. Then through a set of APIs, Rexter monitors the user’s relationship-building activities across multiple calendars, inboxes, social networks, and smart phone platforms.
While Rexter is monitoring the user’s networking efforts, its engine is analyzing the activities so it can score the relative relationship value of them. By knowing about the user’s network and monitoring their relationship building activities, Rexter is able to produce a personalized recommendation of the most effective use of time spent networking.
The recommendations are then presented to the user in the manner he/she chose (email notifications, direct logins to Rexter, smart phone app) so that they have a daily list of relevant people to contact in order to best stoke their professional network.
