A survey by mainland consulting firm iResearch showed that the number of monthly visits to reached around 75 million in January 2013, beating all mainland travel sites. The total number of activated users for Qunar’s mobile app hit more than 34 million by the end of March.

In 2013, Qunar searches over 700 Chinese online travel web sites, covering more than 100,000 hotels, 11,000 domestic and international air routes, around 40,000 holiday packages and 25,000 tourist sites. Qunar also provides group-buying deals in more than 100 Chinese cities.

Qunar faces stiff competition from Elong and Ctrip.
